Wandsworth Young Minds Matter
This is a Wandsworth-wide one-off event in Parliament Week to bring attention to the importance of mental health to educational achievement, and seek action together.
We are bring together people who are concerned about mental health issues, childcare and youth provision from across the borough: local and national politicians, services providers from healthcare, children’s services and education, voluntary organisations and families.
This event will be especially relevant for teachers, social workers, youth workers, foster carers, CAMHS mental health professionals, providers of mental health services in the borough’s schools, parents and young people.
During the day of key note speeches and interactive sessions, we will share our different perspectives, best practice, and challenges. We will understand each other’s contribution better, and look at ways in which we can do better. As a result we aim to work together more effectively in the future. The programme is below.
