The Things that Matter in Life – an invitation to the opening night of our latest art exhibition

We are pleased to invite you to the opening night of The Things that Matter in Life, an art exhibition by the elders of Katherine Low Settlement.

This special event will take place on Thursday May 19th from 17:00 until 19:00 at the Royal College of Art’s Dyson Gallery in Battersea.

The exhibition showcases works created by older participants throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, many of whom had never painted or drawn before. The artists have challenged themselves through their participation and creative output, gaining self-confidence and independence along the way, a testament to the power of art as a powerful tool for wellbeing.

The show takes place during this year’s ‘Age of Creativity’ Festival, an annual event that supports older people across England to have more accessible age-friendly opportunities to get creative.
