We were saddened to hear of the recent death of Sue Farley. She died after a short illness. Some of our staff attended her funeral at Streatham Crematorium last week.
We’ve known Sue for many years. She and her team ran CBC Services’ back office from our building on Battersea High Street. Sue managed CBC Services, with Jackie Coward, for over 30 years.
We were devastated to learn of her untimely death, as Sue had only recently retired in 2019, after a life of service to childcare services in the borough. She was devoted to her family, as she was to her work. It was touching to hear that her family had been with her, around the clock, during her final months.
We were lucky to know and work with Sue. She was an amazing women, and will be greatly missed.
