Wandsworth ‘Worrying About Money?’ launch on 22 March

On Tuesday 22nd March, 1-2pm we’re officially launching the ‘Worrying About Money?’ leaflet for Wandsworth. It will be on Zoom. Please register (it’s free).

With the cost of essentials rising at the fastest rate in 30 years, many Wandsworth residents are experiencing their household budgets stretched to breaking point.

‘Worrying About Money?’ cash first referral leaflets are co-designed as straightforward resources for people facing financial crisis, and support workers, to quickly see which local agencies are best placed to help with available cash first options.

The aim is to reduce the need for charitable food aid by helping people access any existing financial entitlements and advice on income maximisation as a cash first response to food insecurity. You can read more about why a cash first approach to for insecurity is fundamental to ending the need for charitable food aid here.
