Family Action provide a variety of easily accessible services in Greater London, Wiltshire and across Suffolk and Gorleston for adults who are experiencing, or have experienced, mental health difficulties. All our services work with individuals to identify and work towards their optimum level of recovery and wellbeing.

Previously based at Edward Wilson House, the Drama Workshop is now lead by volunteer Amy and is based in KLS. Along with this, Family Action at KLS also providers a tuck shop/ small community café, and a cookery class.

Workshop 2011

The first Drama Workshop at KLS has already performed. The performance was devised and preformed by members depicted the breakdown of a soccer star on the pitch during a game juxtaposed with a person, an ordinary soul, who was watching the scenes unfold on the screen in a pub. The dramatic tension, drive and message of the performance was created by balancing the commentary of the man in the pub with the crowds reaction and stigmatising comments.
