More ways to support our work
a. Sponsored fundraising events
You could run the marathon (though Battersea Park will do), or swim the channel etc… whatever you decide to do we are most grateful.
Let us know beforehand so that we can support you (e.g. help you set up an online fundraising page etc.) and spread the word too.
Download this pack of A-Z Fundraising Ideas for some helpful ideas.
b. Adopt us as your ‘Charity of the Year’
Do you work in a local school or business then why not choose us as your ‘Charity of the Year’? We would have a fun year supporting each other with volunteering and fundraising opportunities and more. Get in touch.
c. Leave a gift in your Will
A gift or bequest in your will can make a world of difference to the lives of people in Battersea. See more here: www.klsettlement.org.uk/leave-a-gift-in-your-will/
d. Donate in memory
Dedicate your donation to the memory of someone special.
e. Donate in celebration
Have friends and family members donate for a special occasion.
f. Declutter and Donate – Having a sort out?
Please help us raise much needed funds while you de-clutter your home. Donate your unwanted items (books, DVDs, CDs and Games) via Ziffit’s free, no contact collection service. Use our unique Ziffit link HERE– follow the easy to use steps to add the value of your donated items, at no cost to you, to Katherine Low Settlement using Ziffit.
So, clear out your bookshelves and cupboards and easily turn your unwanted items into precious pounds for KLS. Simply follow this unique ZIFFIT LINK
Add Gift Aid
If you’re a UK tax payer then please don’t forget to Gift Aid your donation. This adds an 25p extra for every £1 donated (we claim this from HM Revenue & Customs). So we can make a donation of £100 worth £125 by claiming back the gift aid from HMRC. Just tick the box on the form if you are a UK taxpayer.
Thank you so much in advance for your support. It means a great deal to us, as your donation means we can continue to support local people in Battersea and the wider Wandsworth community. Thank you!
