Launch of new website giving a fresh new outlook on charity work

After months of working together, the Katherine Low Settlement has been working with Creative Agency 22PointSix to launch a new and exciting website. The Settlement, based in the Battersea area of London, is a Charity that aims to raise key issues such as isolation, inequality and rising poverty in the community.

The Settlement has been serving the community for 93 years, welcoming over 500 people every week through their door. Renowned locally as well as being established with many national partner organisations, the Katherine Low Settlement needs to maintain themselves as any business would.

With future planning, the Settlement has a 5 year plan which includes boosting membership and volunteers, increasing communications and strengthening partnerships as well as campaigning on key issues.
To achieve these future aims, the new website provides a new donation system, events calendar, online booking calendar for room hires, volunteer area, downloadable resources for members and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) students, sign up for newsletters as well as tying in with the main message of being a much loved busy charity which has been at the heart of the Battersea community since 1924. Alongside the new site, there is a new logo which is driving its way around the local area on the new minibus giving a fresh new look for the next phase of the Charities valuable work.

Fleur Anderson, Head of Community Services at Katherine Low Settlement said, ‘We’re excited to have a new way of bringing the community together in Battersea and beyond. We hope lots more local people will visit our new-look website and find out even more easily how they can fit into the Katherine Low community. Over 500 people a week visit our community centre and we hope to mirror that on-line too.’
