Dear friends,
We’re running our Christmas Give Appeal again this year and need your help.
Please help us raise £50,000 for our Love to Learn education programme for refugee children and their families this Christmas.
You can DOUBLE YOUR DONATION from 30th November to 7th December via our Big Give link (which we’ll send out next week when it goes live).
Helping children like Abdul, Hassan and Yusef
Any funds you help us raise means we can support more refugee children like Abdul, Hassan and Yusef. They came to London a year ago with their parents from a refugee camp in Jordan. They couldn’t speak English, were traumatised from their journey and behaved erratically at school.
The children joined our Homework Club and over time have built great relationships with our staff and volunteers. Their behaviour has settled, their confidence grown, they’ve made new friends and their school work has improved.
How it works?
If, for example, you donate £25 to KLS, then our Christmas Challenge partners* will match your donation with £25 = doubling your donation to £50! Don’t forget to Gift Aid to add an extra 25% on top of your donation.
Watch out for some famous faces explaining how it works in this short video:
*We are very grateful to our match-funding sponsors The Childhood Trust, Francis Holland School and The Topinambour Trust for their belief in our Love to Learn programme and their generous support.
