Donate

A donation to Katherine Low Settlement makes a big difference to the lives of the local people we work with. Your donation will enable us to keep running our older people’s lunch club, young people’s homework club, mentoring programme and ESOL teaching – and more.

More and more people are supporting our work. Do join us. No matter how large or small your donation, we appreciate what you can give!

How your donation can help

A donation of £10

Could buy art and crafts supplies for our Love to Learn Homework Club. The children and young people we work with love to draw and paint. It’s fun and a way to address emotional issues which may be confusing and distressing.

Donate £10

A donation of £25

Could pay for an older person to go on a day trip. During these difficult times our elders can feel lonely and isolated at home. Regular outings on our minibus give our elders a chance to get out, see their friends and improve their confidence.

Donate £25

A donation of £50

Could buy a weekly ESOL session and enable a vulnerable person to improve their English. Studying English helps adult learners to increase their confidence and independence, make new friendships and support their children with education.

A donation of £250

Could fund a laptop to help our GCSE Study Groups to access their school’s online learning portals, and enable supervised online access for their homework and studies. Our GCSE Study Groups meet every week to help with preparation for exams.

KLS100 Building Appeal

Our building is 100 years old and we need urgent financial help to make it more accessible, sustainable and welcoming for the community. Our centenary is about celebrating our long-lasting service and fundraising £200,000 to build our house of the future. We are asking you to help us with a lifetime refurbishment that will make a difference for the children, families and older people of Battersea. Soon you will find more information about our renovation plans and how you can help.

Don’t forget to add Gift Aid

If you’re a UK tax payer then please don’t forget to Gift Aid your donation. This adds an extra 25p for every £1 donated (we claim this from HM Revenue & Customs). That means we can make a donation of £100 worth £125 by claiming back the gift aid from HMRC at no extra cost to you. Just tick the box on the form if you are a UK taxpayer.

Other ways to support
