Elders

KLS Elders Programme works with older people in the community to support health and wellbeing and reduce loneliness and isolation. Our programme encourages new friendships to develop and strengthens connections to help everyone feel part of the KLS family. We offer social, creative and physical activities. We develop and regularly update our programme with our members to make sure it stays varied and relevant to their needs.

Lunch Club

We run a much-loved lunch club. For a small fee we serve a meal including a main course, dessert, tea and coffees.

Age Well Battersea

Our Age Well programme offers opportunities for social activities including peer led sessions such as table tennis, yoga, gardening and one off talks and activities

Art & Crafts Classes

Our series of collective art and multimedia art classes are designed to make the creativity of our members shine.

Income Max

Our Income Maximisation Programme helps Battersea residents increase income and build financial resilience. We offer workshops and one-to-one guidance.

Tech Up

Tech Up Battersea is designed to help beginners and more advanced learners to be confident with technology.

Sewing Club

Our busy member led sewing group meet once a week under to make soft and colourful textile projects.

Minibus Service

We offer a local transportation service for those in Battersea who are less mobile and have difficulties reaching our centre.

Volunteer for the Elders Programme

Volunteering with the is place you can show your passion for helping. We provide training, support and a DBS check. We ask that you commit to volunteering for at least 1 year. There are a wide range of volunteering positions running from 9 am – 3 pm, Tuesday – Thursday each week at our centre in Battersea. No experience is needed and the volunteering is flexible.

If you would like to refer someone to our services please complete our Referral Form.  However, please note we currently have waiting lists on our services so if it is an urgent requirement call to find out about our capacity.

We are currently open for referrals to our Digital Inclusion Programme, Age Well, Monday Chair Exercise and Lunch Club.

Due to high demand we are not currently taking referrals for our minibus, sewing or arts and craft sessions
