Future Foundations

KLS Future Foundations is a family-focused education and wellbeing programme supporting children, young people and adults from refugee and migrant backgrounds living in Battersea and Wandsworth. The programme works with whole families, offering practical support with learning, wellbeing and everyday life in the UK.

Future Foundations provides 1:1 mentoring, homework and GCSE clubs, youth clubs, early years support and wellbeing workshops for children and young people. For adults, it offers tailored casework and Community Learning activities, where English language support is built into conversation groups, walking sessions and activity-based learning.

The programme also runs trips and activities for all ages, helping families feel supported, connected and confident in their daily lives.

Clubs

Youth Club (Monday evenings), GCSE Club (Tuesdays and Wednesdays), Senior Club (Wednesdays), Junior Club (Thursdays), Early Years support (Mondays and Wednesdays).

Mentoring

1:1 remote mentoring to help children and young people build confidence, improve schoolwork, and plan for the future.

Family advice and advocacy

Drop-in support for parents and families. Get help with forms, services, housing, benefits and school issues.

Community Learning

Practical English learning, free creche, and group activities that build confidence and everyday skills for life in the UK.

Volunteer for our Future Foundations Programme

Volunteering with Future Foundations is really rewarding. We provide training, support and a DBS check. We ask that you commit to volunteering for at least 1 year. You don’t need teaching experience, our volunteers come from all walks of life.
