The Club aims to create a safe and open space for the older LGBTQ community of Battersea and bring together new and old friends to meet and talk freely about everything and anything.
The Club meets fortnightly on a Wednesday afternoon, from 14:30 to 15:30.
It welcomes anyone over the age of 50 who defines as LGBTQ+, including gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, non-binary, and queer members.
We want to create a relaxed, warm and supportive LGBT 50+ community in Battersea, create new friendships and connections between different age groups, understanding the common grounds, challenges, and strengths of the LGBT community.
Some of the events will be intergenerational, including different LGBTQ+ age groups. Others will include outdoor events, day trips, and public speakers.
The service launched on Thursday, November 10th 2021 at 14:30 and will run every two weeks after.
