Pride Talks: An evening with Peter Tatchell on 6th April

Katherine Low Settlement is pleased to announce the start of a new series of talks that are part of our Age Well LGBTQ+ Club programme. The PRIDE TALKS are aimed at exploring the experiences of older and younger generations of the LGBTQ+ community. The talks are open to everybody and free.

As our first guest speaker, we are thrilled to welcome Peter Tatchell. Peter will be joining us on Wednesday April 6th at 18:00 at Katherine Low Settlement for a conversation about his battle for human rights from 1967 to the present. Peter Tatchell will discuss the trials and triumphs of his 55 years of campaigning.

Peter Tatchell is a British human rights campaigner, originally from Australia, best known for his work with LGBTQ+ social movements. Peter is the founder of The Peter Tatchell Foundation which promotes and protects the human rights of individuals, communities and nations, in the UK and internationally.
