Congratulations to the members of Guts and Glory gym who completed their Three Peaks Challenge last weekend. Eight local fitness enthusiasts challenged themselves to climb the UK’s highest peaks – Ben Nevis, Sca Fell Pike and Snowdon – in 24 hours, raising over £9,500 (and counting!) for our Love to Learn Programme.
In other fitness challenge news, our brilliant Love to Learn Volunteer Ellie, has taken on one of the toughest endurance challenges in the UK, the Exmoor marathon which encompasses stiff climbs, open moorland, and a stunning stretch of coastline. Find out how Ellie is preparing for her June challenge HERE
If this has inspired you to take part in a sponsored event for KLS, there are tons of events going on in and around London this summer. It’s a great way to keep fit, challenge yourself and help our work with local communities.
