We’re delighted to have been selected to take part in the 2023 The Childhood Trust’s ‘Champions for Children’ campaignto raise money for our summer programme, giving children from refugee backgrounds the chance to explore a new horizon.
From 6 – 13 June, all donations are automatically doubled to help us reach our target of £20,000 to pay for a summer of fun for local refugee children. (Don’t forget to add Gift Aid if you can.)
For the whole of August, children and young people aged 4-21 will enjoy jam-packed days trying out a range of fun activities, including sports, cooking and craft. They will be outside in the summer sunshine in local parks and further afield.
“I would just be at home all day if I didn’t come here” Usman, aged 13
You can help us reach our target of £20,000. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, last year’s programme was a huge success, with over 200 children getting outside and getting involved. You can read about it here.
One donation has twice the impact.
The great news is that thanks to The Childhood Trust and Francis Holland School, all donations are automatically doubled between 6 – 13 June. Your gift will be used to provide a full range of activities throughout the summer.
A big thank you to you and to our funding partners Francis Holland School and The Childhood Trust for supporting a summer of fun for local young people.P.S. Please share this email with your friends, family, neighbours, colleagues and everyone you can think of and help us to reach our target!
