Our building is 100 years old and we need urgent financial help to make it more accessible, sustainable and welcoming for the community. Our centenary is about celebrating our long-lasting service and fundraising £250,000 to build our house of the future. We are asking you to help us with a lifetime refurbishment that will make a difference for the children, families and older people of Battersea.
In April 2024 The Battersea Society is sponsoring three fundraising walks as part of Katherine Low Settlement’s 100th birthday building appeal.

Katherine Low Settlement was opened on 17th May 1924 by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of York who later became Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. As the Duchess arrived there was much excitement with crowds thronging around her car and Battersea High Street was full to bursting point.
